Exploding another double gun myth

I have always been told that a double was regulated to fire barrel sequences right-left, right-left and to do otherwise was folley and would not work..This is accepted mythology by most....

So I decided to do some investigative work on the subject..I called Butch Searcy and he said that horse hockey, they will shoot the same either way, Hmmmmm, not what I believed....

I then decided to test a number of guns for myself..I located about 5 different guns including all mine..behold!, viola!!, they all shot the same either way and I could not determine any difference in any of the guns, not one bit...

I have believed that myth for many years until recently..just goes to show ya, you never get to old to learn and the older you get the more you realise you learned it wrong the first go around...

Kinda like after fighting the drug war for 20 years, someone asked me how to solve the problem..I told them I knew how 20 years ago, I had all the answers, but they asked me too late because today I havn't got a clue!

The older I get the less I used to knew!!
