thanks so much for the input (you too nitro!), I didn't know WR had ammunition for the 450, and yes, bullet selection is infinitely better, I am sure.

It seems to me that we'll just have to operate on a "best thing we can find" level, and take whatever comes.

Leroy, would love to go out to the range with you sometime to get a feel for some of the doubles you have... if your interested/willing. I mentioned a few of the guns in your collection to my dad and his interested was peaked to say the least...
