My .375 H&H Merkel had over 700 rounds shot any it was tight as new when I sold it.

There were two things that finally drove me to sell my Chapuis. The top lever is tiny and the forend is huge.

Regarding ejectors: it's personal, I hate them, event on my shotguns.

Consider re-sale, because you WILL "upgrade" down the road
