Aw come on Rob, the .600 Heym is not that bad!

I found if I rested 10 minutes between shots, I could keep 3 shots in 3 inches offhand at 50 yards. It sure hung nicely for me, and the trigger is great. But if I were going to hunt with the rifle, I would change over to a different recoil pad and get a bit of mercury in the butt. The rifle is a tad muzzle heavy so it could probably stand 2 mercury tubes in the butt with no difficulty.
