Just speaking from my own experience, I have noticed less interest at the various auction houses here and abroad in regards to doubles of lesser quality. Also Italian shotguns are way off, whether best grades or not. However, the opposite is true for "best" English & Scotish high grade doubles which have fetched in some cases beyond there recent retail prices. Which is great news for those of us who invest in such specimens.
