I saw somwhere that Carl Grundig was a gunmaker from about 1880 to 1939 when the war started, then of course Dresden was bombed in 1945.

The cartridge could be proprietry, as I see on an International Ammunition Association forum listing that Grundig had at least one of his own cartridges made by H.UTENDOERFFER around 1900
