I'm a greater fan of "plain" rifles, doubles included, I tend to the beauty in action school of thought & have never felt the need for acres of ornate engraving. Not knocking anyone elses likes or desires, thats simply what works for me. I think this particular rifle & the later offering from Heym & Searcy in their PH & more workaday styles are just great. This rifle is very much what I had in my minds eye years ago when I was in H&H in London looking (drooling) at a display of BG rifles. A chappy in dark jacket & pinstripe pants wandered up & asked if he could help "sir", sir being in jeans & fleece jacket. He was very polite up till the time I asked if it was possible to get rifles like these but without the engraving. At that point I got the sort of look usually reserved for child molesters & the conversation was promptly albeit very politely ended as he spotted obviously more promising quarry. Kalunga, I think what you have there is just great. Steve
