Thanks guys. Agree with 9three, talking about some day to day experiences is probably one of the best things on a forum. I do leave my bows mostly unstrung, but being in the south of Brasil the weather is mild and leaving them strung does not change poundage. Regarding Marrakai comments, Brasil has several different buffalo populations. Up on the very north island of Marajo in the Amazon river, in Roraima and also in the northwest state of Rondonia on the border with Bolivia you have the "carabao" buffalo, just the same as the Australian water buffalo. The wild populations in the south of the Amazon, pantanal and central Brasil are mostly of the "murrah" or "jafarabadi" breeds, ther respectively have short curling horns and horns that grow longer but downward.
