Ripp is right for sure, but you have to make a commitment to quality over and above factory ammo, and you have to make a commitment to absolute safety. I have seen too many people who have stepped into reloading while thinking it is without pitfalls. That's niave. There are many pitfalls and lots of opportunity for failure. The factory ammo producers aren't stupid. Safety isn't automatic. You can blow up a rifle or knock a double off face. It's easy! I'm not saying you shouldn't do it. What I'm saying is that if you do it you should approach it like it is a most serious venture. Believe me, if you are 45 or 50 years old and just thinking about loading ammo, you are WAY behind the curve. Take it easy, study it fully, and then do it. Best, Curl |
