I feel the faster velocity of the 500/416
compared to the 450/400 is only relative
on shots that are 50 or more yards longer.
I also think that part of the experience is
to get really close to the dangerous game,
within 25 yards if doable, so what's the
point of the extra speed? I vote for the
450/400 caliber.
