I own a Blaser S2 safari Super Luxus in 470 NE and have used it on scrub bulls, buffalo and pigs. The rifle is different from others out there and the cocking mechanism has had a lot of comments made about it.

All I can say is that I find my rifle good to use. It comes up to the shoulder like a fine shotgun. I personally do not find the cocking mechanism an issue and with use it becomes second nature. The rifle is accurate and well made. There are things about it I do not like but this applies to a lot of the rifles I own. Each has their own issues and good points.

I like my rifle and have had no problems with it. I do note that a lot of comments I have seen in the past about the Blaser doubles are made by people who have handled but not used them. Each to their own.
