Gentlemen, I think Laura Beer is asking the question! Laura, I'm not a collector at all. All my firearms are for hunting. Except I have more than I need for just simple hunting. I tend to prefer my rifles including doubles to be plainer and simpler, as I am not the kindest person to them and believe a tool exists to be used, not babied. My Jeffery .450 No.2 Nitro Express, "Zabardast", has been used on a variety of game, including elephant, water buffalo, donkeys, boar, warthog, fallow deer, scrub bulls, among other game. Oops forgot the last beast to fall to "Zabardast", banteng - photo added above. My Tikka/Valmet 9.3x74R has been used on a water buff cull, scrub bulls, boar, warthogs, deer, donkeys, wild horses, and some other game. My .58 Black powder DR has to yet be blooded. *** If I was a rich man I would have an extensive collection as well. |
