I am not a DR mechanic but many doubles, including shotguns, are like that. I copped out on my Krieghoff 470 and sent it back to K (in the USA) to get the opening angle increased. This was particularly annoying in my case as a deliberate effort was needed, not just a nudge.

The bottonline: I don't know how to fix it but it can be. Sorry.
