My experience with Remington in the last few decades is that they are quite "put out" to lower themselves to even speak to a lowly customer. They make a point to let us know that THEY will decide what THEY will let us have, and if we don't like it, that's just too bad.

I would not expect to see that policy change with this rifle or any Remington product.

It's really too bad. They have a potential to be so much more, but they bite the hands that feed them as a matter of company policy.
