I wasn't about to try to sell something by pointing out all the bad points. Who does?

But in selling the gun to an Individual purchaser, whether experienced or a newbie, I'll agree with the poster above. Me - and I think I said it before that I point will "highlight" the "not so good" points of any gun I sell.

If I sell a gun to someone in the US from here, who has never seen, felt or looked at the gun, then I want them to know ALL the pros / cons of the gun before they pay for it and it leaves Australia. And so far, all buyers have been more than happy. I will say though that all my guns go via a gunsmith and get the "once over" and anything needed fixed up as I use them.

IMHO, You are in a dilema as you were selling to a dealer
and to some extent they have to take what they are offered and make a judgement themselves. Maybe would have been better off going through an Auction - although as you said, you were in it up high and they gave you an easy out.
