For many reasons I will refrain from saying exactly what the gun was, who made it, and who I purchased it from.

My original purpose was just to explain why Cabelas is asking so much for the .318 WR. That's all that really matters here. Sorry for sidetracking.

I think the .318 is a great cartridge but in the USA it really is a reloaders cartridge.
