After the usual booboos getting supplies and equipment I loaded ten rounds of ammo using black powder and the 460 grain gas check bullets I bought from Huntingtons.

The left barrel printed a 2 1/2" group two inches high at 50 yards and the right barrel printed a 3" group three inches high at 50 yards, both quite well centered on target.

As far as I am concerned the load development is finished. I couldn't be happier.

I didn't get a chance to chrono the load. I'll do that soon enough. From the recoil... this old lady has plenty of oomph to do the job.

I cleaned her gently with a nice warm water bath, oiled her and put her on the rack to enjoy.
