The nickel plateing is for only two purposes, #1 is to aid in extraction regardless of weather conditions. And #2 to avoid corrosion in very humid climated, glueing the case to the chamber walls! This plating is valuable in Alaska as well, and no matter the wet, for days on end, the case remains as slick as greesed goose crap, and will eject easily.

Too bad the poster is in Spain, because I'd buy his brass in a heartbeat!
