Ritterbusch Double Rifle

Does anyone know anything about the Ritterbusch Double Rifles. What is the cost, quality, where is it made, etc?
Any help would be great. I'm looking to buy an affordable double rifle for Africa but I'm not sure what to get.

Contact George Caswell and J.J. Perodeau at www.champlinarms.com
They may still have a Ritterbusch double in stock. It was a 458 I think.

Re: Ritterbusch Double Rifle

Also let me add that a couble of months ago I was at the range and met a guy that was getting ready for Africa. He had been several times before, saw the pictures, and he has several double rifles, including some big name British and some new made German ones. The rifle he had at the range that day was a Heym in 458 Win Mag, with a scope. He said that this was his favorite double to hunt with. It shot real well and it handled good too. He was shooting reloads with X bullets. He stated he had never had any extraction problems. I spoke with him after his trip and once again he had no problems with the rimless double.
Chapuis also makes a 416 Rigby double rifle.

Ritterbusch is a very competend family owned gunsmith company who builds the finest handmade rifles. He builds all kind of rifles, but mainly bolt actions, also left hand and Take-Downs.

I guess you checked their web pages.
http://www.jagdgewehre-ritterbusch.de also in english.

I donīt know how much money is "affordable" for you, but this rifles are handcrated on customer wishes. Well, they are all worth the money.

This is an article in a magazine, itīs in german.
