Yes, after much deliberation and thought over the weekend I decided the Hollis was the one for me and have taken the plunge, I have bought the rifle. I have to get my licence sorted from a .470NE to the 450/400 3” which shouldn’t take long so hopefully in a few weeks I should be able to pick up my first double. In the meantime I will be getting all the dies and cases together to start reloading. Ill post some more pics when I pick it up Many thanks for everyone’s help. Regards Phil |

Well done! Now that you have voluntarily infected yourself with the disease, you will need to keep coming back here to keep the antidote up to date. Of course like all addictions you might need to keep adding - a medium bore or perhaps that .470 one day. |

Phil, Congrats on picking up the 450/400. I'm sure you'll be very happy with the choice. Can't wait to see pictures from your safari. Good shooting. Jim |

I knew you would pick it up. After all, what's not to like if when you pick it up and it starts to sing to you. |

Good stuff, Phil. Add my congratulations. As a long-time .400-addict, I can assure you that its not a painful affliction at all! |
