Morning all, amongst other projects, I currently have a USA custom gunsmith building me a single shot in .30-06 on a Martini Hagn action. My question is about stocking. My shotguns are stocked to my measurements and I understand I am going to have to change some measurements as this will primarily be a scoped rifle. My question regards LOP, it seems ridiculously short in some US made rifles. My LOP in double shotguns is 14 7/8ths". I was going to go with 14 1/4 on the rifle, any thoughts ? BTW, my other measurements are
cast off 1/4
drop to comb 1 3/8ths
drop to heel 2 3/8ths
any thoughts on what these measurements should be for a scoped rifle (with lowish mounts)
