The lathe is a 70's vintage southbend 10k with a 4 1/2' bed. The knobs & fittings are orginal equipment, it's just in great shape and he treats it well.

I couldn't have custom ordered a greater dad. Talk about old school square shooter. He is my best friend. He will turn 80 his next birthday and still sharp as a tack. He raised two boys and two girls by himself working two jobs till all were out of school.

We are finishing what i believe will be the last big project, a 9.3x74 on a sauer frame.

gonna be a big jump off the soapbox now. :^)
