I noticed one chap wrote on this site about his problems with a 30/06 Bakail (later named and sold by Remington); I think it was a SXS, but may have been an O/U, as they made both versions. I think they used, basically, the same action on their SXS double rifle as they did on SXS shotguns? I have an O/U 30/06, and haven't fired it yet, as have been customizing it. Has anyone had problems with the Bakail/Remington, either o/u and/or sxs, for higher pressure cartridges such as 06? If so, what problems have you had? I looked at Bakail sxs shotgun action, and wasn't impressed at all, however, I think highly, so far, of the o/u, (great steel, good design though don't like fact that it has no extended rib top fastener).
