I was reading through this thread and about to suggest the 303/22 and then saw it was already suggested. If pigs and goats are high on the agenda, with the possibility of small deer, why not the
aussie classic 303/25. You get your rimmed case, as stated above should be able to download a little for low pressure, get projectiles that will handle any pig or goat and are legal for hunting
