I have a few quesions about building a double rifle. I would like to build a double rifle using an existing double barrel shotgun and .32 Winchester Special barrel inserts.
Would a Stoeger boxlock be strong enough?
Also, can existing screw in choke threads be used as a base for an essentric barrel centering device for adjusting the point of impact? I would use this on one barrel and fix one barrel.
Also, Has anyone used the EAACorps, 45-70 barrel inserts to make a double rifle?
I am an amateur gunsmith, but have never worked on double barreled guns before. It is something I always wanted to do.
