just got off the phone with Dickson and Macnaughton (the owners of the name and keepers of the books) they were very helpfull and found the gun right away. since the pages are old and delicate a copy is out of the question but i will be allowed to do a coupple of photo shots of the pages when im in edinburgh.

so here is a few more scraps of info:

a. henry best gun in caliber 577
finished in 1888 as no. 1 of a pair.
lenght of pull 14,5"
the rest will come in late aug. when i am over there.
