Seeing how well Marrakai has done with his Greener convert, i was wondering.....

Regardless-more or less- to cost, what is the absolute best action/model to use to convert into a double rifle?

i.e. does it go into larger gauge, stronger action and such? So by taking say a 10g Jones with a dollshead extension, or a 10g with a a third bite of some other type, is this better than using a heavy 12g action?

Apart from being barrel heavy, that is.

Marrakai, how well is that Greener holding out against the 577x2.75" anyway?
