I would not do it. I built 2 guns on this action and found them to be to soft. Also the main springs had to replaced with heaver ones and the action reamed out to handle the larger springs. I also had to make heavier nipples and smaller firing pins. If you are planning to go with a high pressure round go with a Merkel or JP sauer. Rich
