vigillinus One of the differences I can see is that if Rigby did it you can sell the gun World Wide and it would shoot whereas if the US company did it you could only sell it in a few countries and certainly none of the markets where 9.3 x 74R Rigby's would be popular (UK, Europe etc). I have a Sidelock Rigby which Paul Roberts (Rigby's) redid into 375 Flanged Magnum. It's a bit like all the 375 Flanged doubles that US gunsmiths made into 375 Flanged Magnums as they were worth more - but only in the US and I think those who are / were knowledgeable wouldn't touch them anyway.
