I remember 2 remarks from the video (if I am wrong please correct), they mention 250 hours work in a gun and then 50,000 pounds for the more or less standard grade price, they had a name. Well just noodling on that I would guess their labor cost is about 100 to 125/hour. So labor cost is aprox 25000-32250. Materials: 1000 for steel and 500-1000 wood. Cost per 26500-34250. Markup would be 23,500-18750. That has to cover all the fixed overhead costs like building, office and management personnel, taxes and profit, if any. I would say their estimation of hours per must be somewhat less or cost per less.
I think you could run and sustain a business on these numbers as long as purchases are steady and an economic recession doesn't occur. When you are in the luxury business, it is fickle
