Wow nice work! That action looks very familiar to me. Once owned one like that but in 16 gauge. Purchased new in Brooklyn, N.Y. Shotgun was destroyed, barrels broken and stock broken, my farther sold off the parts. I would like to see more pictures of the action if possible. The safety should say safe on when not engaged. Also we lived in upstate N.Y. at that time. That shotgun had the most spectacular figured wood I have ever seen on a gun.
