So true, however loading manuals have spoken of this since the 60's, where there was a segregation between Trapdoor-type loads and loads for the Model 1886 Winchester - see Hodgdon's #21 loading manual form the 60's, which I still have, of course. It is the one I started with.

Your 350gr. @ 2,260fps must have been fairly moderate in that big #2 case. It is a good load - I shot a moose with a similar loading - many years ago.
