I have just returned from a hunt for Scimitar-Horned Oryx in the hill country of Texas. I took a very nice one with the double rifle that I completed last year in calibre 9.3 x 74 Rimmed. The rifle performed flawlessly, taking this beauty at 154 yards. This was the "first blood" for this rifle. These are big, tough animals. You need to keep in mind when viewing this photo, that I am 6'10" tall and weigh 310 pounds, so I make animals "shrink" in photos. LOL!
