Im about to make an order with a supplier for some actions. He has a .470 NE barreled sidelock action available that a customer cancelled on. A lot of the work has been completed by him, needless to say the work so far is really good. Still plenty to do though.

-double purdey underbolts
-intercepting sears
-Southgate ejectors
-anson pushrod forend release
-chopperlump barrels at 24"

If this is something you might be interested in shoot me a PM. Its a sidelock so the price isn't low, but certainly lower than any other sidelock actioned DR on the market if you have me complete the build. Of course options dictate price.

Completed by me the gun will be warrantied and even come with a free gun refinishing once for the rifles life; as will all my rifles. This action will be a part of my new rifles being offered.

The reason I am not purchasing it is because of its cost. The person who did the work so far works at a higher cost than I. I cant make that investment at the moment, especially considering I can get two or three action kits for the same cost, which is what I am doing for advertising pieces.

Action still needs the sides machined to accept locks, bushed strikers installed, ejector work fitted, trigger group fitted, cocking arms fitted, top snap, top tang, action shaped, etc...
