Ingenuous exploitation of both air rifle and DR design features.

The rebounding lock will avoid the old valve bouncing problem and prove to some that the rebounding lock can prevent valve bounce.

The firing pins presumably act as individual valve actuators, which is a brilliant adaptation of DR design to the air rifle.

My only misgiving is the need for the oversized mid rib. But then, I am judging from photos, from close up it might be just the ticket.

Now, if you can find the time to write about the design and machining stages you will make a lot of us very happy.

Above all else though, it is also a very pretty double rifle. One of the most elegant I have seen.
