I have a couple of projects; but I need a gunsmith that's willing / able to do more than screw on a scope base AND not want to finance his kids Harvard tuition on my parts alone; but I certainly don't mind paying for the job. My first project is a bit of a pet peeve Ive had for a few years. I have a H&R Buffalo Classic that is chambered in 45-120 and sports a long brass scope. Its a neat gun and good start for the budget minded. My complaint starts with the H&R release lever. Theres nothing wrong with it EXCEPT that it looks too modern. Id like to have it "roll over" the side of the gun and perhaps have a bit of a 19th Century swirl. Next Id like something done with the hammer as well to give it some flair and panache. Any suggestions? |
