Several conversions have been done on the J.P. Sauer & Sohn actions, as well as Simson actions (essentially the same gun). Both have double lugs, Greener cross-bolt and side clips asll desireable features. Ellis Brown makes mention of both in his book, IIRC. As for sourcing either, try Carl Bush at www.757arms.com.
