Don't even consider lengthening the chambers on your gun without taking it to a Qualified Gunsmith. Let him measure the barrel diameters and let him decide if it would be safe or not. I would not personally want to shoot a Biakal 45-70 that had been lengthened to more than Maybe a 45-90. Bob
