Interestingly, I have mused for some time about converting a 30-06 to a 300H&H flanged, for no reason other than I can.

The question is though, it looks to me as though the 300 will clean up the 30-06 chamber fully, but its that much longer I'm wondering if it may create a weakness in front of the mono block.

Thoughts?
