I must confess to having an interest in this build and it's progress as well. I think keeping the weight down will be a challenge on this rifle and hope you can get it down to a manageable figure. Out of interest, how thick are the barrels at the muzzle on this profile?

Your .475 Morrison cartridge has me intrigued. Are you able to give us some details. I can't imagine a more satisfying project than building a double chambered for your own cartridge. Although as you say, if the weight ends up a little high the option is there to use the .470 NE chambering.
