I have a few friends based in North Queensland, Australia and so have access to a range of rainforest timber slabs. Is anyone able to advise on the suitability of some of these timbers for rifle stocks. I already have a couple of slabs of Black Wattle stored away that I was thinking of using. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
