Depending on the amount of twist, what I had in mind was a 250 to 300gr. bullet, driven by a full case of 3F. This would give close to the same power as say, a .40/82 Winchester on the lighter end, or .40/90 Sharps loaded with slightly lighterthan typical bullets.

Omnivorous Bob - do the heaveri lods spread them more or bring them in? The elevation is GREAT!

Of course, there are cast and jacketed bullets well over 100gr. that will work - form 60gr. to 120gr. I fully expect it will be an absolute delight by the time you are finished.
