It's been a while since I've updated, but I still haven't managed to send this rifle out to have the barrels blacked. I'm having too much fun shooting it at the moment. Maybe this winter....

Tonight I tried a new bullet/load of 12.5 grains of AA1680 wth a 75 grain Hornady V-max as an experiment. This is max in Hornady's manual and should give a hair over 2000fps (I didn't chrono them). They still didn't quite seal the case necks and the brass was very dirty, but I won't go higher. This target was the result of three pair shot off of sticks at 25yds as rapidly as I could manage.

Great individual barrel groups, but a bit more experiemtning is due to move them together. Great fun!
