Pardon my ignorance- but what is 'backer foam/rod'....
Does anyone on the forum have reloading data for the 577 3" to approach 2 3/4 performance (being a 650 g jacketed bullet at 1650-1800 fps ). I think this load would still be feasible in a Ruger N1 action...
