It appears from your byline, that you are now located in Pennsylvania. Wish you were a bit closer, would love to sit down and discuss double rifle building with you. Your experience with a torch on the range closely resembles mine - you get a lot strange looks when you do that sort of thing, but that is the way I did my first double as well. I look forward to seeing more of your project in the future.
