Have been thinking...................... which is a bad idea I know.

Now after reading Ron's post on his 303 build and reading some other posts on other builds it sort of came to me if the Back thrust against the standing breech is a bit of a worry why could not an Improved case be used as one of the advantages it's claimed for an Improved cases is reduced back thrust due to the case shape gripping the chamber wall better.

It's not quite what I asked for

as I asked for a .303 Epps and this is not that. The neck is too short.

Just wondering how it would be in a nice Double rifle
