Nicely done. I just returned also and took my .303 H&H DR (re-chambered to 35 WCF) and killed an impala, pig and gnu. All were under 100 yards as I used the iron sights.

Nothing, but nothing carries like a round action small bore DR. Cuped in my hand or over my shoulder (Africa carry) the deep drop on the stock is like a sailboat keel keeping the rifle righted. The slim SxS bbls fit my had perfect - and - at 8 pounds I need no stinking sling.

The long 28" bbls hold a bead so steady that it begs you to shoot open sights.

I would love to shoot it more, but every shot of that 115 year old is one closer to a breakage. I reserve every shot for hunting now.
