A .338/333 makes a lot of sense - to me. 2.5" case with .545" base. .348 case would work but short by 3/10's. If the chamber was cut for the .348 case, it would no longer be a .333Jeffery Flanged, but - would VERY easily duplicate it's ballistics. Of course, the .338/348 is already a US wildcat. |
