I have just bought a Toz 16 gauge hammer gun. I found it at a local gunshow, thought it was a 12 gauge. The stock is ugly flakey shellac, but I looked down the bore to discover it looked perfect. The vendor said he wanted $50, so I paid in a flash.

It was later that I discovered it was a 16ga & thought maybe this would be a good base for a rifle. The action has a Greener cross bolt & is chambered for 16 x 70.

So the questions are - do any of you guys know anything about this shotgun & what sort of cartridge could I look at?
