David doesn't quickload require the exact capacity to the base of a loaded bullet, etc? Perhaps that was another computer program? Daryl, Quickload calculates this by selecting the correct bullet, it will list seating depth, amount of projectile in the case etc. The only thing it won't automatically select for is difference in case capacity varying by case maker, it just gives an "average" I expect. You can be as precise as you want, changing case capacity in grains of h2o if you desire. Quickload lists the 35 WCF as having a max pressure assigned to it of 44300 psi. I ran a few loads as follows. 22.5" barrels. max pressure of 40 000 psi, 250grn Hornady RN I ran all these up close to 40 000 psi, use at your own risk, as they are estimates only. 47 grains of H4895 2210 fps at 38 000 psi. 46 grains of IMR 3031 2250 fps at 38 200 psi. 54.5 grains of IMR 4350 2200 fps at 38 800 psi. 49.5 grains of RE 15 2240 fps at 38 800 psi. 57 grains of RE 19 2200 fps at 37 500 psi. Hope this helps a little. David. |
